Science Incursions

For those evenings on camp where staff need some time for preparation, or your camp has a particular scientific focus,  let us tailor amazing camp shows for your camps. We can produce shows or experiences throughout the day or after the sun has gone down.

This show is all about fizzes and bangs, showing that gases have mass, and that a gas takes a lot more volume than a liquid. 

Solids are not always as solid as they seem and can behave like liquids.

This is a packed morning! 

This event is aimed at individual classes and will give your students the opportunity to make a functional eye model, and a periscope. 

We demonstrate laser light and if facilities allow we will make fibre-optic cable for your classroom.

This show is all about what a chemical change is, and how it is different from changing states. There will be lots of irreversible chemical reactions that give out heat, sound and light. 

There will be demonstrations to amaze and engage your class before setting them on to the challenge of making their own windmill or water turbine to generate electricity to power a miniature house. Every student will get the chance to build circuits to see how many lights their machine can light.
